Do I have to audition?
Absolutely not! As long as you are between 7 and 18 and want to sing then you will be made very welcome.
Do I have to be able to read music?
No, but it helps! You will be given sheet music to work from but everything will be explained and taught by professional teachers and musicians.
Do I have to buy ball gowns or dinner suits?
No. For concerts you will be smart, but casual, in choir uniform.
Do I have to come to every rehearsal?
Yes! The Milli is a team and every member relies on the help and support of all those around them. Naturally there will be occasions where illness and certain family events get in the way, but joining any club or team requires a commitment especially where parental taxis are concerned.
Do I have to sing in every concert?
See above! There will be plenty of advance notice given verbally, by email, via Facebook & Twitter, and also on this website. Please check regularly that you have an up to date list of commitments to ensure that your team mates and audience won't feel let down by your absence.
Will I have to sing solos?
Only if you want to. Solos and duets are always encouraged but only if you feel comfortable.
